San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Santee Sheriff’s Station are asking for the public's help to locate an unknown suspect wanted in connection with a vehicle burglary.
On February 01, 2017, between the hours of 2:20 a.m. – 3:10 a.m., an unknown person broke the rear window of a car that was parked at the 24 Hour Fitness, located at 9909 Mission Gorge Road in Santee. The suspect took two wallets that contained about $1,000, a new pair of Nike tennis shoes, a Galaxy S6 cell phone, and a Padres duffle bag from inside the vehicle.
At about 3:20, a Black male was seen attempting to withdraw money from an ATM, located at 301 N. Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon using the victim’s ATM card.
The suspect is described as a Black male between 30- 40 years-old with w muscular build.
