On July 21, 2018, at 2:04 a.m., officers with the San Diego Police Department responded to a report of an injured person in the 4500 block of Pacific Highway, in the Old Town area of San Diego. Officers located Steven Barnes lying on a sidewalk at that location. Barnes had sustained lacerations and trauma to his upper torso. San Diego Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered first aid to Barnes. Despite their efforts, Barnes was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene. Detectives were able to get suspect information during the course of their investigation.
Suspect’s Description:
The suspect is described as a light skinned male, possible Hispanic and Black or White and Black, 18 to 25-years-old, thin build, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall, goatee, and shoulder length dark colored hair. The suspect was last seen wearing tan Dickie style shorts with red stripes, light colored shirt, black backpack with white stripes, and was seen riding a yellow “OFO” bicycle.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers, along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Southeastern Division, are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown suspect who violently assaulted a store clerk and stole several items from a Shell Gas Station located in the Ridgeview/ Webster area of San Diego.
On June 26, 2018, at about 9:30 p.m., an unknown male suspect walked into the Shell Gas Station located at 4405 Home Avenue, in San Diego. The suspect walked through the store and placed several food items inside a black bag. A clerk told the suspect that she saw him placing items inside of the bag he had with him. The clerk told the suspect that he needed to pay for all of the items.
The suspect denied stealing anything. Another clerk approached the suspect and asked the suspect if he had something concealed in his bag. The suspect then punched the clerk once on the left side of his face causing the clerk to fall to the ground. The suspect then left the store and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and remained there for three days. The victim suffered a broken jaw and lost a tooth as a result of being punched.
Suspects’ Description:
Black male, 35 to 40-years-old, 5’7” to 5’8” tall, weighs 185 to 195 lbs., beard, wearing a zip-up style hooded jacket, gray striped shirt, gray sweatpants, white baseball style cap, and white tennis shoes. The suspect has a large tattoo (possible letters) on his upper chest.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Matthew Haney who is wanted for a assault with a deadly weapon and felony evading.
On July 14, 2018, at 10:30 p.m., Matthew Haney was driving a black colored Honda Odyssey and struck several road barricades at the intersection of 6th Avenue and El Prado, in the Balboa Park area. After striking the barricades, Haney then drove directly towards a San Diego Special Event Traffic Controller. The traffic controller had to run away from the vehicle and was within a few feet of Haney striking him. San Diego Police Officers attempted to stop Haney, but he led officers on a vehicle pursuit through San Diego, Lemon Grove, and he eventually stopped his vehicle in La Mesa. Haney ran from the vehicle and eluded officers.

Matthew Haney is described as a White male, 40-years-old, 6’0” tall, 160 lbs., blonde hair, and brown eyes.

**Armed and Dangerous**
San Diego County Crime Stoppers, along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit, are asking for the public’s help in locating Dominique Grady who is wanted in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Jossie M. Ruiz.
On June 16, 2018, at 5:11 p.m., the San Diego Police Department’s Communications Center received a 911 call from a resident in the 3600 block of 45th Street regarding a possible death. The first patrol officers arrived and discovered Ruiz deceased in her apartment from a gunshot wound. Homicide investigators were called to the scene and investigated the death. Investigators have identified Dominique Grady as the suspect in this case and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Dominique Grady is described as a Black male, 26-years-old, 5’6” tall, and weighs 140 lbs.

San Diego County Crime Stoppersand investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Major Crimes Division are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a male suspect wanted for assault with intent to commit rape.
On June 11, 2018, at about 1:00 p.m., an 18-year-old female was walking westbound on Civic Center Drive in front of the Harbor Freight Tools store, located at 820 Civic Center Drive in Vista, when a male suspect rode up behind the female on a black BMX bicycle and made several sexual comments to her. The female victim was scared so she went into the Taco Shop located in the same business complex to get away from the suspect. When the victim no longer saw the suspect in the parking lot she continued walking westbound on Civic Center Drive.
The suspect contacted the victim a second time in front of 606 Civic Center Drive. He again rode his bicycle behind the victim and grabbed her buttocks with his hand. The suspect made sexual comments to the victim and told her that he was going to take her and sexually assault her. The suspect grabbed the victim but she was able to fight back and break away from the suspect. The victim began screaming and the suspect was scared away. The suspect fled westbound on his bicycle towards Eucalyptus Avenue.
Suspect Description:The suspect is described as a White or light skinned Hispanic male in his early 20's, standing between 5'5"-5'7" tall, weighing 140-160 lbs., with a thin build. He has thick wavy short hair, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and dark pants. The suspect was riding a black BMX style bicycle.
