San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police  Department’s Criminal Intelligence Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying  and locating the suspect(s) responsible for a hate crime and vandalism that occurred  in the University City Neighborhood in the City of San Diego.  

Between August 7, 2026, and August 8, 2026, an unknown suspect(s) entered a  residence belonging to the UCSD Jewish Fraternity in the University City  Neighborhood. The suspect(s) spray-painted antisemitic and racial slurs on the  interior and exterior walls of the home.  

Investigators are requesting assistance from the community in locating anyone who  may have witnessed someone or a vehicle at the residence on August 7th or 8th.

Crime Stoppers in partnership with the San Diego GLBTQ+ Historic Task Force and  the Hate Crime Fund is offering up to a $2,000 reward to anyone with information  that leads to an arrest in this case.
