Suspect Wanted for Felony Hit and Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving two female pedestrians with serious injuries in the College neighborhood in the City of San Diego.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, at about 12:29 a.m., a 19-year-old female pedestrian and a 20-year-old female pedestrian were hit by an unknown vehicle in the southbound lanes of 5000 College Avenue. The driver of the vehicle did not identify themselves and fled the scene.
Video evidence shows the suspect’s vehicle is possibly a dark colored 2010-2017 BMW 5-Series. Detectives are asking for any information regarding the identification of the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. Detectives are also asking for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or events surrounding the collision to come forward.
Vehicle Description
The vehicle description is unknown, but possibly a dark colored BMW. The vehicle is missing its driver’s side mirror and may have light to moderate damage to the front driver’s side portion of the vehicle.
