Suspects Wanted for Home Burglary and Credit Card Fraud Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office San Marcos Station are asking assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspects responsible for a home burglary in which the suspects used the victim’s credit cards for fraudulent purchases.
On June 30, 2024, at 11:15 a.m., unknown suspects broke into a home located at 1268 South Hampton Road, in the City of San Marcos. The suspects stole $20,000 worth of jewelry, various items and purses from inside the home. The suspects used the stolen credit cards to make multiple fraudulent purchases at the Albertsons located at 1929
W. San Marcos Boulevard and the Ralphs located at 306 S. Twin Oaks Valley Road in the City of San Marcos. Additionally, fraudulent purchases were made at the Food4Less located at 664 N. Broadway in the City of Escondido. The fraudulent charges amounted to approximately $1,300.
Investigators were provided with surveillance video which captured a newer white model possibly 2020 Chevrolet Suburban in the area. It also captured an unknown female and unknown male outside of the victim’s home.
Suspects’ Description:
Suspect #1 is described as a White female approximately 30 to 40-years-old with brown hair, wearing a “Modelo” brown hat, “Budweiser” white t-shirt and black shorts.
Suspect #2 is described as a White male wearing a straw-style hat, black face mask, sunglasses, black shorts, and black shoes.
