San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving two pedestrians with serious injuries in the Ocean Beach area of San Diego.
On Friday, April 7, 2023 at about 5:43 p.m., a 31-year-old male and a 31-year-old female were unloading property from their rental car along the south curbline of 4700 Greene Street off West Point Loma Boulevard. A vehicle was traveling eastbound on Greene Street and struck both pedestrians and their rental car. The vehicle fled the scene continuing eastbound on Greene St towards Ebers Street.
Both pedestrians were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Vehicle Description: Black older model Lexus sedan, possibly an LS400, with damage to its passenger side including missing the passenger side mirror and windshield wiper.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
