San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving a pedestrian with fatal injuries in the Lincoln Park area of San Diego.
On Saturday, November 4, 2023 at about 7:09 p.m., a 57-year-old male was struck by a vehicle in the 300 block of N. 47th Street. The male was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The vehicle that struck the male fled the scene northbound on N. 47th Street.
Vehicle Description:
White, older model (possibly early 2000’s), Ford, F250, extra cab pickup truck. The truck may have had an “A” frame-type rack in the bed. The truck will likely have some damage to the front bumper, grille and hood area.
