Unknown Suspect Wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Robbery

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the suspect responsible for an assault with a deadly weapon and robbery, which occurred in the Hillcrest area of San Diego. 

On June 25, 2021, at 12:25 a.m., a 31-year-old male victim was walking along the sidewalk of 3700 6th Avenue, in San Diego, when he was approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect demanded the victim’s property, but the victim resisted. The suspect shot the victim in the leg and stole various items from him. The suspect was last seen running northbound on 3700 6th Avenue and may have fled in a dark colored vehicle similar to a Toyota Corolla. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries sustained from the gunshot. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a White male, possibly in his 20’s, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with a logo on the front, gray sweatpants, white socks, and dark colored sandals. The suspect may have fled in a dark colored vehicle similar to a Toyota Corolla.

Suspect Wanted for Fatal Hit & Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the National City Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a fatal traffic collision in National City.

On March 17, 2021, at about 7:20 p.m., 81-year-old Leonardo Alcantara was walking northbound on the 1900 block of East 8th Street when an unknown driver, traveling westbound, struck Alcantara. The suspect did not render aid or call 911 and fled the scene immediately.

Alcantara suffered multiple injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators located surveillance images of a suspect vehicle.

Suspect Vehicle Despcription:

The vehicle appears to be a dark colored blue or gray 2012-2015 Chevrolet Malibu or Chevrolet Cruze with minimal front end damage.

 David Francis Cepeda Pangilinan (41) is a local fugitive who is wanted for an attempted murder of a local El Cajon Police Department officer.  The incident occurred on 12/14/20 after officers were called to investigate a vehicle blocking the roadway.  During the contact, Pangilinan initially provided someone else’s identification.  Pangilinan suddenly started the car and drove away with an officer trapped inside the vehicle.  The officer was struck by another vehicle that was traveling in the roadway and suffered significant injuries.  Pangilinan’s whereabouts are currently unknown.

 

Unidentified Suspect Wanted for False Imprisonment

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unidentified suspect wanted for false imprisonment. On August 20, 2020, at 11:17 a.m., an unknown adult male suspect entered the women’s locker room at the UCSD Clinical Training Facility located at 210 Dickenson St, in San Diego. A 30-year-old female victim was using the restroom inside the locker room when the suspect walked inside. The female tried leaving the restroom but was being blocked by the suspect. The suspect asked the victim, “Don’t you want this” while gesturing to his body.

The suspect then left the restroom, but held onto the outside doorknob to keep the victim from locking the door. The suspect walked back inside the restroom and blocked the victim’s exit once again. This occurred a total of four times before the victim was able to lock herself inside the locker room until the suspect left. The victim waited until she heard a coworker in the hallway before leaving the locker room. The victim went outside the building to call for help and saw the suspect near another building.

The victim ran from the area and called 911. Suspect’s Description: The suspect is described as a White male, possibly 6 feet tall, thin build, unshaven, short dark colored hair with a gray patch near his right temple. The suspect has a tribal design tattoo that circles around his right arm and has various tattoos on his left arm. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing khaki shorts and a yellow colored reflective vest and dark colored tennis shoes.

Suspect Wanted for Felony Battery

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Northwestern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for a felony battery that occurred in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego. 

On July 19, 2020, 9:45 p.m., a 24-year-old female victim was walking with her friends in a parking lot located in the 12600 block of Torrey Bluff Drive. As the victim was walking towards her parked vehicle, an unknown suspect threw an unknown object at the victim’s face, striking her eye. The suspect had thrown the object from possibly a dark colored SUV. The SUV fled the area and the victim received medical treatment for major injuries to her eye including permanent orbital damage. 

Investigators are continuing to check the area for surveillance footage of the incident. Investigators are also asking if any residents or persons have surveillance footage or cell phone video that may have captured this incident, to contact them.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect wanted for an assault with a deadly weapon, which occurred in the Kearny Mesa area. On December 7, 2019, at about 3:12 p.m., an unknown suspect was inside the Mobil gas station located at 8380 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. The suspect was standing behind a 54-year-old male (victim) who was at the counter, paying for his coffee. The suspect began speaking to the victim, but was not making any sense. For an unknown reason, the suspect pulled out a small wooden red colored baseball bat from a tool bag and began striking the victim multiple times on the back of his head. The suspect ran out of the business and was last seen running southbound on Kearny Mesa Road. The victim suffered a laceration to his head, a concussion, and a broken finger. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Suspect’s Description: The suspect is described as a White male, 30’s, thin build, brown and red colored full beard. He was wearing a yellow construction helmet, black hooded sweatshirt, work gloves, yellow reflective vest, dark pants, and work boots. The suspect was holding a red “Milwaukee” brand tool bag.

 San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the Vista Sheriff's Station are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating two unknown suspects wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and an attempted carjacking. 

On September 22, 2019 at about 7:55 p.m., the victims were parking their vehicle in their garage at their home located on Palomar Place in the City of Vista. While one of the victims was outside of the car moving a trash can, a white Ford work truck stopped behind their vehicle. The passenger of the truck got out and approached the victims' vehicle, opened the driver’s side door, pointed a knife at the second victim who was still inside the vehicle and demanded that she get out of the car. During the confrontation, the victim’s neighbor saw what was happening and engaged the suspect in a physical confrontation. The suspect stabbed the neighbor in the abdomen. The driver of the Ford truck got out and helped the suspect get away and they fled the scene. The neighbor who was stabbed has recovered from his injuries. 

Suspects’ Description: 

Suspect #1 is described as a White adult male with a medium build and standing about 5’10” tall with “buzzed cut” brown hair. 

Suspect #2 (Driver) is described as a Hispanic adult male with a stocky build and standing about 5’10” tall with a shaved head. 

Vehicle Description: 

The suspects were driving in a white newer model Ford F-series truck with a white rack and two (2) utility diamond cut boxes on the sides of the truck bed.

Jeffrey Moore is wanted by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for failing to comply with the terms and conditions of his parole.  Moore is considered a parolee at large (no bail).  Moore is currently on parole for making criminal threats to cause great bodily injury/death.  Moore has previous convictions for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a loaded gun, and domestic violence.  Moore is known to frequent the Oceanside, Vista, and Carlsbad areas.  Moore was last seen in Vista on June 24, 2019 and was wearing blue jeans, a black Deadpool shirt, and a dark colored baseball hat.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect involved in an assault with a deadly weapon case in the Pacific Beach area. 

On July 7, 2019, at approximately 9:21 p.m., San Diego Police Officers responded to a report of a violent disturbance outside the Firehouse American Eatery and Lounge, located at 722 Grand Avenue, in San Diego. Officers arrived at the scene and located an adult male employee of the bar who had sustained a significant head injury. The suspect had struck the employee with a metal object. Other employees of the bar were also assaulted by the suspect. Their injuries range from serious to minor. The suspect fled the area prior to officers arriving. 

Investigators are asking members of the public who were at this location during this incident and have cell phone video, to contact them. 


 Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30-years-old, 6’0” tall, weighing 250 lbs., and wearing a white t-shirt. The suspect may have fled the area in a dark colored SUV.

Suspects Wanted for Felony Battery & Robbery

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating unknown suspects involved in a felony battery and robbery case in the Kearny Mesa area. 

On June 28, 2019, at 9:30 p.m., a 64-year-old male victim was inside his RV, which was parked along the 7100 block of Engineer Road, in San Diego. A group of street racers arrived in the area for an apparent “meet up” and gathered into a large group. Multiple vehicles arrived at the location and began doing “burn-outs” in the street. Some members of this group climbed on top of the victim’s RV. The victim walked out of the RV to confront the males about being on the RV’s roof. 

Three males began physically assaulting the victim. An additional male stole an unknown item from the victim’s pocket as he was lying on the ground unconscious. The victim suffered major head trauma including a brain bleed and a fractured vertebrae. 

The suspects fled the area in a grey, possibly 2003 Audi A4 sedan.

Eric York Cruz is wanted by the San Diego Fugitive Task Force for an outstanding felony (no bail) warrant for assault with a deadly weapon.  Cruz does not have any previous criminal convictions.  Cruz was last seen in the Vista area but may be anywhere in San Diego County.

Suspect Wanted for Felony Assault

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a felony assault in the Gaslamp area. 

On March 15, 2019, at about 2:30 a.m., an adult male victim was standing outside the Andaz Hotel located at 600 F Street, in San Diego. The victim was approached by a group of five males who were walking by the hotel. For unknown reasons, a male suspect in the group punched the victim in his face, causing him to stumble backwards. The suspect started to walk away. Once the victim stood back up, the suspect walked back and punched him again in his face, causing the victim to fall back and strike his head on the ground. The suspect and the group he was with fled the area in an unknown direction. 

The victim suffered a broken cheek bone and required surgery to his skull including the placement of a metal plate.

The suspect is described as a Black male, early 20’s, muscular build, short hair, goatee, wearing a white shirt, black pants, and black sneakers. The suspect had multiple tattoos on his left and right arm.

Suspects Wanted for Armed Robbery

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating three unknown suspects wanted for an armed robbery in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. 

On March 20, 2019, at about 11:30 p.m., three unknown male suspects entered the parking structure of the Millennium Apartments, located at 5080 Camino Del Arroyo, in San Diego. All three suspects who were armed with handguns approached an adult male and adult female inside the parking structure. Suspect # 1 (S-1) spoke Spanish and told both victims (English translation), “Give me everything you have! Fast!” The suspects took luggage and a purse from the victims after pointing firearms at them. 

The suspects were last seen running with the luggage and purse from the parking structure onto Camino Del Rio North. The suspects possibly fled in a white, early 2000’s Hyundai Sonata or Kia Optima eastbound on Camino Del Rio North, then northbound on Camino Del Arroyo. 

Suspects’ Description: 

Suspect # 1 (S-1) is described as a Hispanic male, 26 to 32-years-old, stocky build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black hat with white lettering, dark colored pants, and white shoes. 

Suspect # 2 (S-2) is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 30-years-old, stocky build, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes with white accents, and a black hat. 

Suspect # 3 (S-3) is described as a Hispanic male, 30 to 40-years-old, athletic build, black and silver Raiders track jacket, black pants, black shoes with white accents, and black hat.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
