Suspect Wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Southeastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for an assault with a deadly weapon on a 20-year-old male while he was sitting inside an MTS trolley car.

On November 1, 2023, at about 1:44 p.m., the victim and suspect were on the eastbound MTS trolley car, just before the 62nd Street/Encanto trolley stop. The suspect started to cause a disturbance and confronted the victim for an unknown reason. The suspect then punched the victim in his face. After the fight, the victim sat down facing away from the suspect. The suspect used a metal water bottle to strike the victim two times on his face. The suspect left on foot from the 62nd Street/Encanto trolley platform. The victim sustained a fractured orbital, a broken nose, swelling and bruising to his face.

Suspect’s Description:

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 28 to 32-years-old, 5’6” tall, and 165 lbs. He was wearing a white beanie, white t-shirt, brown pants, and white sneakers. He possibly had three dots tattooed under his left eye and an unknown tattoo on his left forearm.

Suspect Wanted for Fatal Hit and Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving a male pedestrian with fatal injuries in the North Park area of San Diego.

On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at about 7:15 p.m., a 42-year-old male pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle as he walked across Utah Street just south of Polk Avenue. The male pedestrian was seriously injured and died six days later. The involved vehicle fled the scene southbound on Utah Street.

Parts left at the scene had markings indicating they came from a 2017-2022 Hyundai Ioniq. Detectives are asking the public for any information regarding the identification of the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle.

Vehicle Description:

Based on parts left at the scene, the suspect’s vehicle is possibly an unknown color 2017-2022 Hyundai Ioniq with a missing trim piece between the driver’s “A” pillar and the driver’s side mirror as shown in the attached photo. There should also be damage to the driver’s side front headlight and possibly dents and a cracked windshield on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for stabbing a 21-year-old male while he was sitting and asleep inside an MTS trolley car.

On October 22, 2023, at about 5:00 p.m., an unknown adult female stabbed a male while he was asleep inside an MTS trolley car, which was stopped at the Nobel Trolley Station, located at 3449 Nobel Drive, San Diego. The victim exited the trolley and flagged down MTS security for help. The suspect remained on the trolley and was last seen exiting the trolley at the UTC stop. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victim suffered several injuries to his chest as a result of being stabbed. The victim is expected to survive.

Suspect’s Description:

The suspect is described as a Black female, 25 to 35-years-old, 5’5” to 5’9” tall, medium build, wearing a red sweater, red sweatpants, and black sneakers. The suspect has short dark colored hair and was wearing a black head covering.

Suspects Wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying an locating the suspects responsible for assaulting two males and a female in the Gaslamp area of San Diego.

On August 6, 2023, at about 1:03 a.m., four friends were walking on the 700 block of 6th Avenue. Two unknown suspects were walking south on the same block. Suspect # 1 (S1) and victim # 1 (V1) accidentally bumped shoulders. The victims continued walking and S1 and S2 turned around and confronted the victims. S1 placed both of his hands around V1’s neck and strangled him multiple times. V2 attempted to stop the fight and S2 then strangled V2 and pushed him to the ground. While V2 was on the ground, S1 attempted to kicked him in the face but V2 was able to block his foot. S1 then punched V3 in the face. Both suspects left the area before police arrived. V1 had complaint of pain to his neck area. V2 received medical treatment for back injuries and a concussion. V3 received medical treatment for a concussion and possible fractured skull.

Suspect # 1 (S1) is described as a Black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, tall, muscular build, wearing a grey shirt, jeans, white shoes, gold chain around his neck and eyeglasses.

Suspect # 2 (S2) is described as a Black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, heavy build, wearing a black dress shirt, black dress pants, black shoes, and eyeglasses.

Death Investigation Assistance

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help with an incident that left a male deceased in the Otay Mesa West area of San Diego.

On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at about 8:51 p.m., citizens called 911 to report finding a male down in the roadway at the intersection of Del Sol Boulevard and Beyer Way. Police and Fire personnel responded and discovered the male was suffering from a serious head injury. The male was not able to speak and there were no witnesses at the scene to indicate what happened to the male before he was found.

The male was transported to the hospital where he died on September 17, 2023, as a result of his injuries.

At this time, it is unknown how the male sustained the head injury. The male was Hispanic, 42-years-old, about 5’ 8” tall, 150 lbs., brown hair, and unshaven. He was wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants and was known to frequent the area.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for threatening and assaulting a rabbi in the College area of San Diego.

On July 24, 2023, at 9:50 a.m., an unknown suspect was inside the 7-Eleven store located at 5141 College Avenue, in San Diego. While inside, the suspect confronted a 65-year-old male who was a rabbi and was wearing traditional Jewish faith clothing items including a yarmulke. The suspect asked the victim if he was Jewish. The victim said he was Jewish. The suspect then began to scream numerous antisemitic comments towards the victim and ripped off part of victim’s outer religious garment.

The suspect left the store on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a White male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’8” tall, average build, long wavy hair, possibly dreadlocks.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred in Balboa Park.

On June 21, 2023, at 4:53 p.m., a 24-year-old male was training a client’s dog with the client and a friend near the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center (1875 El Prado, San Diego) in Balboa Park. Approximately 100 to 200 skateboarders came into the park as they had been skateboarding in the area for “Skate Day”. One of the skateboarders told the victim and his friend to leave the park because it was the skateboarders’ day to be there. The victim and his friend refused. Several skateboarders began to intimidate the victim by skating close to him and the client’s dog. The victim tried to get away from the group but was followed by several different males. Two males in the skateboarding group struck the victim over his head with their skateboards causing the victim to lose consciousness.

The two suspects fled the area before police arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victim suffered a laceration to the back of his head.

Suspects’ Descriptions:

Suspect # 1 is described as a White or Hispanic male, approximately 18-years-old, medium build, curly blonde and brown hair, wearing a black and grey “Baja” hooded sweater and cutoff blue jean shorts. He had a silver nose ring and a large black ink tattoo on his left hand (tattoo might not be permanent).

Suspect # 2 is described as a White male, approximately 18-years-old, medium build, curly blonde hair, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, green and black camouflage cargo style pants, light color beanie, and black and white shoes.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Imperial Beach Substation are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and the suspects responsible for an assault and robbery in Lincoln Acres.

On May 11, 2023, at about 1:10 p.m., San Diego Sheriff’s Department Deputies responded to the 2500 block of Fenton Place in unincorporated National City to investigate a report of two victims that had been forcibly assaulted and robbed at gunpoint.

Deputies arrived on scene with National City Police Officers and learned two Hispanic male suspects armed with handguns, confronted the two victims in the front yard and forced them into the residence at gunpoint. Once inside, suspect #2 robbed victim #2 of his wallet containing $250 and his identification card. Victim #1 attempted to disarm suspect #1 and was shot once in the foot during the struggle. Video surveillance captured both suspects fleeing the scene in a newer model (2018 -2023) white Toyota Camry with tinted windows and aftermarket rims. A composite sketch of one of the suspects was completed.

Suspects’s Despcription:

Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic Male, approximately 24-28-years-old, weighing 150-160 lbs, with black hair, wearing sunglasses, with a mustache/goatee and acne scars. Additionally, he was wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering, black shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic Male, approximately 24-28-years-old, thin build. The victim overheard suspect #1 calling suspect #2 by “David.”

On March 19, 2023, at about 1:51 a.m., a male victim was outside of the Senor Pancho’s taco shop located at 5089 College Avenue, in San Diego.

For an unknown reason, two male suspects got into an argument with the victim. During the argument, both suspects used a closed fist and punched the victim in the face multiple times. The victim sustained a laceration and facial fracture to his lower right eye socket. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspects were last seen walking westbound on Montezuma Road.

Suspects’ Description: Suspect # 1 is described as a White male, 6’ tall, thin build, approximately 20-yearsold, clean shaven, black medium length hair, wearing a black and red flannel shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap turned backwards. Suspect # 2 is described as a White male, 5’8” tall, medium build, approximately 20- years-old, dirty blonde hair, wearing a black jacket and black pants.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Southeastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for beating a 52-year-old male inside a gas station in the Lincoln Park area of San Diego.

On March 13, 2023, at 11:23 p.m., an adult male (victim) walked into the United Gas Station located at 235 S. 47th Street, in San Diego. The victim noticed a male lying on the floor and appeared to be unconscious. There was another male (witness) who was trying to wake the suspect up as he was on the floor. The victim was assisting the witness and asked if he should call for paramedics.

For an unknown reason, the suspect stood up and grabbed the victim. The suspect punched the victim in the head several times with a closed fist. The suspect then used several knee strikes to the victim’s upper torso. The victim was unable to defend himself and fell to the ground. While the victim was on the floor, the suspect punched and kicked the victim in the head. The suspect then walked out of the store with the witness. Investigators believe the witness and suspect know each other.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. The victim suffered a fractured orbital, facial fractures, broken left forearm and a concussion.

Unknown Suspects Wanted for Robbery

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspects responsible for robbing a victim of their cell phone and assaulting three other victims in the East Village area.

On October 14, 2022, at about 10:53 p.m., three unknown suspects got into an argument with two other males in the 1100 Block of J Street, in San Diego. During the argument, the suspects punched two of the victims in their face causing both to fall to the ground. While on the ground, the suspects kicked both victims in their face causing both to lose consciousness. A 60-year-old male saw what was happening and attempted to stop the suspects from kicking the victims. The suspects then began to punch the 60-year-old male in his head causing him to fall to the ground and strike his head on the concrete. A person nearby used their cell phone and tried calling 911. One of the suspects then stole that person’s cell phone.

The three victims suffered numerous injuries due to being kicked multiple times in their head. These injuries include a skull fracture, broken nose, and broken orbital.

Suspects’ Description:

Suspect # 1 is described as a Black male, 25 to 30-years-old, tall, thin build, afro hairstyle, wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, and white shoes with a black stripe on them.

Suspect # 2 is described as a Black male, 25 to 30-years-old, tall, thin build, wearing a black t-shirt, gray jeans, and black shoes.

Suspect # 3 is described as a Black male, light complexion, approximately 30-years-old, tall, heavy build, full beard, wearing a tan Padres “Tony Gwynn” jersey, black pants, and white shoes.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for a felony battery that occurred in the College area of San Diego.

On October 1, 2022, at about 11:45 p.m., an 18-year-old male victim was standing in the parking lot of the Senor Pancho restaurant located at 5089 College Avenue, in San Diego. As the victim had his back turned, an unknown suspect walked up from behind him and punched him once in his face with a closed fist. The victim fell to the ground and was rendered unconscious. The suspect got into a white Dodge Charger and fled the area.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victim sustained a broken jaw and other injuries to his head and hip.

Suspect’s Description:

The suspect is described as a Black male, 5’10” to 6’1” tall, weighs 200 to 220 lbs., with short dreadlocks hair style, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The suspect was driving away in a 2018 or newer white Dodge Charger, with dark window tint and no front license plate.

On October 11, 2022, at 5:00 a.m., an unknown adult male suspect used a taser and carjacked a victim in the 4300 block of West Point Loma Boulevard, in San Diego. The vehicle was later recovered, but the suspect remains at large.

The suspect is described as a Black male, late 20’s, 5’5” to 5’7” tall, black t-shirt, thin build, wearing a do-rag on his head.

La Jolla Shores Attempted Homicide Case

On June 3, 2022, between 4:50 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., a 59-year-old female was walking in Kellogg Park (La Jolla Shores) located at 8300 Camino Del Oro, In San Diego. As the victim was walking on the sand, an unknown male tackled her from behind and began to physically assault her. The suspect kept the victim on the ground by using various grappling wrestling style movements. 

The suspect punched the victim on her face and head multiple times and covered her mouth and nose. The suspect then twisted the victim’s neck. The victim believed the suspect was trying to stop her breathing and break her neck. The suspect then used the victim’s walking cane and struck her head and face multiple times with it. 

The victim believed the suspect was trying to kill her and she physically fought back against him. Eventually the suspect ran from the scene and was last seen headed northbound from the main lifeguard tower. The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victim suffered multiple injuries including lacerations, abrasions, and contusions to her upper body. The injuries are considered non-life threatening. 

Suspect’s Description

The suspect is described as possibly an Asian male, 25 to 40-years-old, 5’7” tall, muscular build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and leather fingerless gloves. The victim believed the suspect had an Asian accent. The suspect will mostly likely have abrasions, lacerations, and bruises on their fingers, face, and head. The suspect may also have bite marks across their fingers.

Information Wanted For Attempted Murder Suspects At Large

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department San Marcos Station want your help in locating 18-year-old Jose Gonzalez and 22-year-old Serafin Cervantes who are wanted for a stabbing that occurred in the City of San Marcos. 

On Tuesday April 19th, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Jose Gonzalez and Serafin Cervantes attacked and stabbed a 15-year-old male victim in the 500 block of Rancho Santa Fe Road, in San Marcos. The victim sustained major injuries. 

Suspects’ Description: Jose Gonzalez is a Hispanic male, 18-years-old, 5’6” tall, weighs 120 lbs., thin build, has black hair and brown eyes. 

Serafin Cervantes is a Hispanic male, 22-years-old, 5’5” tall, weighs 160 lbs., has black hair, and brown eyes.

Unknown Suspects Wanted for Felony Battery and Hate Crime

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the suspects responsible for a felony battery and hate crime, which occurred in the Barrio Logan area of San Diego. 

On September 12th, 2021, at about 9:30 p.m., a 27-year-old male was with two male friends attending a “Church of Music Rave Festival” at Crosby Park, located at 100 Crosby Road, in San Diego. As the males were leaving the festival, an early 2000’s black 4-door sedan pulled up next to them and two unknown males got out of the vehicle. The victim and his two friends were approached by the two unknown males. One of the males (Suspect #1) spilled alcohol on the victim from a large glass bottle. The second unknown male (Suspect #2) punched the victim and yelled anti LGBTQ slurs towards the victim. Suspect # 2 punched the victim multiple times, which caused the victim to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. 

The suspects left the area and were last seen running northbound on Cesar Chavez Parkway away from Crosby Park. The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. The victim sustained a broken orbital and a broken nose. His companions were uninjured. 

Suspects’ Description: 

Suspect #1 is described as a White male, early 20’s, slim but muscular build, blonde wavy shoulder length hair, wearing shorts and no shirt. 

Suspect #2 is described as a White male, early 20’s, slim build, taller, wearing an over-sized blue t-shirt, shorts or light-colored pants, and a blue baseball cap.

Reward Increase and Case Update: College West Assault with a Deadly Weapon

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are continuing to ask for the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the suspects responsible for shooting a 16-year-old male in the face in the College West area of San Diego. 

On August 21, 2021, at approximately 11:50 p.m., two 16-year-old males were leaving a party located in the 4900 block of Campanile Drive, in San Diego. As these two males were leaving the party, they were confronted by a group of approximately 20 to 30 Hispanic or Asian males. This large group accused the two males of throwing a bottle at them and then chased both males to the 5900 block of Baja Drive. A large group of unknown male suspects began to punch the victim multiple times. The victim looked up and saw a muzzle flash and immediately felt pain to his face. The suspects ran away westbound on Baja Drive. 

The victim’s friend took him to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victim was not actually struck by a bullet but was struck by fragments from the bullet. The victim sustained several lacerations to his face and permanent loss of his left eye. 

Suspects’ Description: 

The victim described the group of suspects as approximately twenty Hispanic males who had thin builds and one heavy set Asian male. A witness described the group of suspects as forty “well-dressed” college aged Asian males. 

***The victim’s family is offering a $9,000 reward in addition to Crime Stoppers’ $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.***

Unknown Suspect Wanted for a Homicide

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the El Cajon Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit are asking assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspect(s) who is responsible for a homicide that occurred in the City of El Cajon. 

On August 22, 2021 at about 11:21 P.M., the El Cajon Police Department received a 9-1-1 call to report a stabbing that had occurred in the 400 block of Graves Ave., El Cajon, CA. When officers’ arrived to the scene, they located 54-year-old Patrick Heard in front of an apartment complex. Heard was not responsive and had a knife inflicted wound to his throat. The officers’ rendered aid to Heard until paramedics arrived. Heard was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. 

The motive for the attack is unknown. No suspect(s) have been identified or located at this time. The investigation is still active and ongoing.

The suspect was described as a 6’0 tall male, medium build with a black hoodie sweater, dark jeans and baseball cap.

Unknown Suspects Wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Hate Crime

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the suspects responsible for an assault with a deadly weapon and hate crime, which occurred in the Mission Beach area of San Diego.

On August 2, 2021, at about 11:38 p.m., a 26-year-old female was with a group of friends and was attending a bonfire on the beach near the 3000 block of Mission Boulevard. A group of young adult males approached her group. An unknown male began to yell anti LGBTQ slurs towards the victim and her friends. One of the males in the group (Suspect # 1) threw a filled 24oz beer can at the female victim, striking her left eye. Another male (Suspect # 2) pulled out a black colored Glock-style handgun and pointed it at the head of a 30-year-old male who was with the female victim. The suspects left the area and were last seen walking towards the parking lot and possibly got into a black sedan. The female victim sustained a bruised left eye. The male victim was uninjured.

Suspects’ Description: Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 30-years-old, black tank top, ripped black jeans, anchor pendant chain, rose/leaf chest tattoos, black shoes, backwards black ball cap. Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 25-years-old, thin, over-sized black tshirt, black/green and white camouflage shorts, black and white lanyard, front facing black cap, white socks, black shoes.
