Unknown Suspect Wanted for Bank Robbery

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the FBI are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in San Diego. 

On June 5, 2017, at approximately 11:00 am, a male suspect walked into the Union Bank, located at 6010 El Cajon Blvd in San Diego and presented a demand note to a bank teller.  The demand note indicated that he had a gun. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and have him an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect fled the bank on foot.

Suspect’s Description:
The robber is described as an African-American male, with braided hair, standing approximately 6'00", with a stocky build. The robber was last seen wearing a tan jacket, with a plaid shirt, and unknown type of pants. 

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.  Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.   Anonymous email and text messages can be sent via www.sdcrimestoppers.org.
