Unknown Suspect Wanted for Fatal Hit and Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from California Highway Patrol are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the driver that struck a woman on State Route 94 

On July 8, 2018, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a Black female was struck in the westbound lanes of SR-94, east of 28th Street, within the San Diego city limits. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 2004-2008 dark grey or blue Toyota 4Runner was seen fleeing the scene after the collision. 

The Toyota 4Runner should have moderate damage to the front right side of the vehicle, along with right front quarter panel, front grill, right headlamp and right fog lamp. The 4Runner is also missing the Toyota emblem from the front grill.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect and or the suspect’s vehicle is asked to call the CHP at (858) 637-3800 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
