Suspects Wanted for Burglary

Up to $1000 Reward

Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects involved in a construction trailer burglary. 

On April 17, 2019, at approximately 2:21 a.m., two unknown male suspects forced entry into a construction trailer that was located at 600 East Palomar Street, in Chula Vista. The suspects stole approximately $18,000 worth of tools including a generator, ground compactor, and a hydrostatic pump. 

Investigators believe the suspects were driving a stolen 2000 maroon colored Chevrolet full-size pickup truck with a California license plate of 7D70263. The vehicle has an aftermarket grille guard and push bumper installed on its front bumper. 

Suspect’s Description: 

Suspect # 1 is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30-years-old, thin build, short dark hair, earring in right ear, and unknown tattoos on both biceps. 

Suspect # 2 is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30-years-old, heavyset, short dark hair, thick rimmed glasses, mustache, goatee, wearing a thick gold chain over his t-shirt. 

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspects is asked to call the Chula Vista Police Department at (619) 691-5151 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
