San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect wanted for grand theft, which occurred in the San Carlos area.

On October 25, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., an unknown suspect backed a vehicle into a carport located in the 6600 block of Bell Bluff Avenue, in San Diego. Inside the carport was a silver and white colored Raleigh M80 mountain bike that was locked to a pole. The suspect used bolt cutters to cut the lock and placed the bike into the bed of his truck. The suspect fled the scene in the truck in an unknown direction.

The victim had two other mountain bikes stolen from the same carport back on October 13th and 15th. After the second theft case, the victim installed cameras inside his carport. The total value of the three stolen mountain bikes is $3,000. Investigators are still trying to determine if the same suspect is responsible for all three cases. The video and photos attached to this release depict the suspect responsible for the October 25th case.
