Suspect Wanted for Carjacking

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect wanted for carjacking. 

CARJACKING AT 7007 FRIARS ROAD (FASHION VALLEY MALL) 

On March 25, 2019, at approximately 1:45 p.m., San Diego Police Department Officers responded to a carjacking in the west parking lot of Fashion Valley Mall at 7007 Friars Road. The 57 year old female victim was walking to her vehicle when the suspect approached her from behind. The suspect placed a knife to her neck and demanded her car keys and wallet. The victim complied. The suspect then got into the victim’s 2017 white four door Nissan Sentra and drove off. He was last seen southbound on Fashion Valley Road. The vehicle has since been recovered. San Diego Police Department Robbery Unit detectives are handling the investigation. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 30 to 35-years-old, 5’08” to 5’09” tall with brown hair.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
